Talk Nano!

Welcome to the lecture series "Talk Nano!“

Unfortunately "Talk Nano!" has been discontinued for the moment. An overwhelming number of excellent talks within our rising and current research projects has cost attention and attendance to "Talk Nano!" by speakers and visitors alike. We are looking forward to discovering new demand for "Talk Nano!“ again in the future!

However, below I would like to provide access to our concept and all the past talks!

Thank you and best regards!
Jörg Mertins.

Outline

I'd like to present a great variety of topics from the Nanosciences at an intermediate to advanced level for advanced Bachelor, Master- and PhD-students of Nanoscience, Physics, Chemistry and (sometimes) Biology and Teacher Training Programs, including vivid discussions afterwards in a casual setting.

Invited lecturers are usually young researches from our university between their PhD and a professorship, guaranteeing a broad spectrum of up-to-date science. It's not just about broadening the own horizon but may also lead to new ideas, cooperations and 'missing links' of the own work.

Talk Nano! is still young but already well established: It started in January 2013 and aims at about one talk per month during lecture time. If you have come across something interesting, let me know: Suggestions for lecturers and/or topics are welcome at any time!

Enjoy!
Jörg Mertins.

Talk Nano! Program for the summer term 2018

Talk Nano! will be back on a more regular schedule after some period of two CRCs running parallel offering lots of activities and talks and after the 50th anniversary of the University of Regensburg. Please follow the announcements here.
